General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Emirates Group UAE on Tuesday announced that the emirates extends the indian flights suspsension until 31 May 2021. The ban on Indian travelers and also the suspension of its flights from India to UAE until 31 May 2021 has been announced by the GACA.
The travel ban is applicable for all Indian nationals. Furthermore, those passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other location in the UAE.
However, UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and members of diplomatic missions who comply with the revised published COVID‑19 protocols will be exempt from travel.
Emirates in a notification said that it has canceled all flights from India to UAE till 31st May 2021. For rebooking options, please contact Emirates call center or use Emirates Covid waiver policy by using waiver code ‘ROGW006 DUE COVID-19’.
United Arab Emirates Travel Ban
United Arab Emirates has announced the restrictions for 10 days starting from 11.59 pm on April 24,2021 but previous week the authorities have announced that the suspension would stay in place until May 14, 2021. There is also no clue when the services will be restarted again.
Who Can Travel To UAE From India?
UAE citizens, diplomatic delegations, official delegations, and flights of businessmen are the categories that are exempted from this restriction.
RT-PCR Covid Test Requirement
The Dubai Health Authorities announced that starting from 22nd April, 2021, all passengers traveling from India to Dubai will be required to take a Covid-19 (RT-PCR) test within 48 hours before departure and all tests must be administered by approved laboratories that issue results carrying a QR code for verification.
