Saudi Arabia Lifts Ban On Travelers From 11 Countries Worldwide. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday lifted the travel ban which was imposed on the passengers arriving from 11 countries worldwide in order to control the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the country.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia on 29th May issued instructions to all the airlines operating in the Kingdom’s airports, on the update of lifting travel restrictions on the travelers arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the 11 countries.
The circular provides for permitting entry to the Kingdom for those arriving by air and ending the suspension of travel, which was in effect earlier, for those arriving from the following countries:
- United States
All the travellers arriving from the above countries still needs to go for institutional quarantine on arrival in Saudi.
Saudi Arabia on 03rd February 2021 has banned the entry of passengers from 20 countries except for Saudi nationals, residents, diplomats, health professionals, and their families as well.
For the rest of the 9 countries, the travel ban will continue to remain in effect, including India and Pakistan. Provided below is the complete list of countries where Saudi Arabia’s travel ban will remain in effect:

Procedures For Institutional Quarantine in Saudi
According to the guidelines issued by the GACA, all non-vaccinated visitors coming from various countries not facing a ban need to go into institutional quarantine at their own expense, upon their immediate arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is also known that the institutional quarantine cost and the health insurance cost will also be included with the flight ticket price.
