A solo trip in Ernad Express 16606 AC Chair car from Trivandrum to Ernakulam. The video shows the facilities of the train, journey and charges incurred for the tickets. The train in its AC Chair car compartment provides the best of facilities within the train that includes clean toilets, charging points, good leg room, very good air conditioning etc. The train is also very fast since it takes the Alappuzha route and hence Trivandrum to Ernakulam is reached in a time span of around 4 hours only, which is almost comparable to the fastest Jan Shatabdi train which takes around 3 hours 15 minutes.
About Ernad Express ================= The Ernad Express is an express train run by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways between Mangalore Central railway station in Karnataka and Nagercoil Junction railway station in Tamil Nadu. It longitudinally crosses the whole state of Kerala. There are 2 trains 16606 and 16605, one from Nagercoil to Mangalore and the other one traveling vice versa. The train is mainly used for daily commuting and has got only sitting arrangements. It does not have Sleeper, 3AC, 2AC, 1AC coaches.
