This is the Chenkara house/ bungalow of Stephen Nedumbally. The bungalow is also known as Lucifer Mohanlal House. So once again welcome to Travel Techies and enjoy yet another Malayalam Movie Shooting Location. This is where Lalettan(Lucifer/Stephen Nedumbally/Esthappan/Esthachan) lives along with the orphans that he gives refuge to. The famous scene where Mohanlal gets angry and stamps mayilvahanam(police officer) was also shot here.

Lucifer Mohanlal house is at Chenkara, a small and beautiful village in Idukki. The place has got much significance in the malayalam movie Lucifer. The intro scene was shot here, scenes with Govardhan, Stephen Nedumbally, Aloshi etc were shot here. In one scene Stephen narrates a story to the orphan children. Chenkara is a really beautiful village with greenery and tea plantations around. As we say in the intro you could see the lush greenery in the background and the tea plantations as well. Thanks to Rashid uncle who took us and showed us the place where the famous movie was shot.
