Shikkara Ride in Dal Lake Kashmir(Srinagar) and the moments following it is what Travel Techies presents to you in this video. We also tried the Kashmiri costume and tried the Shikkara Shopping Experience. We saw the Floating Post Office, Nehru Park, Floating Markets and the House boats which occupy a great portion of the Dal Lake in Jammu and Kashmir.
This is the 12th Episode (Ep #12) and the last episode of our Kashmir Trip.
We started our day by having breakfast from Delhi Rasoi in Srinagar. The place was just ok ok. The hotel is opposite to Dal Lake. So after having our breakfast, we decided to try the Shikara ride, which is a must do thing or best thing to do in Kashmir.

We took a Shikara after checking the govt. approved rates for Shikara ride and we got a chance to go around the Dal Lake and enjoy the beauty of Kashmir. However, we did not get any peace of mind since we were surrounded by sellers in Shikara. We also tried the Kashmiri traditional costume and took some photos in it. Then we went to a floating market and did some shopping for Saffron.
We are also showing the shooting location of Malayalam Movie Keerthichakra and where the famous Mera Kashmir song was shot(Khuda Se Mannat He Meri)
