Highlighting a bad experience faced at Kumbalam toll plaza. Trying to cheat or fool people to pay double toll charge as cash saying their fastag account balance is low or recharge is not done correctly. When I waited and was not willing to pay, since I was sure that I have 1000 rupees balance in my Fastag account, they scanned the tag again using a properly working machine and let us go. Please be very careful at Kumbalam Toll Plaza. This is one of the worst toll plazas in Kerala, after witnessing to other peoples bad experiences here in youtube itself. This toll plaza is very famous for such issues.
Kumbalam is a picturesque region in Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. A water-bound countryside, bound by the Vembanad Lake, as well as the fast encroaching city of Kochi, it is situated around 9 km from Vytilla Junction.
The toll plaza always troubles or creates issues with fellow travellers as seen on social media. Even after hearing lots of complaints, they still do not want to change and is still the same. The toll plaza is en route to Alappuzha or Trivandrum when we are coming from Kochi.
