It was a fine Sunday Morning and we decided to head towards Kappukadu in Kottur where the world’s largest elephant care centre is located. Today my parents also accompanied us. It is actually a 45 minutes drive from our home and is located near Neyyar Dam. So if you are planning for a one day trip to Neyyar Dam or Kottur Elephant Rehabilitation centre, then it would be a great option!
We reached the place and the ticket costed around Rs.205 for the four of us. Rs.40 per head ticket charge and Rs.45 for camera.
One could enjoy many things by visiting the place, such as the sights of elephants bathing, elephant feeding and a parade. We got to know more about the elephants, their names, their food habits, and lot of things about them.
Best time to visit is around 9 in the morning or around 3 in the afternoon. Watch the rest in the video by Travel Techies.
