We reached Kanyakumari at around 5 pm. We checked in to our hotel quickly and then headed towards the beach area to watch the sunset view. The sunset view at Kanyakumari beach was spectacular. A treat for our eyes. There is a small beach area and shore area where one can enjoy the calm waves. People visit the southern most tip of India to enjoy the sunset/sunrise view and for some local budget shopping!! There are also thattukada like small eateries around!!! Best thing we could do in an evening at Kanyakumari is to watch the sunset and do some budget shopping!
